Lucy Powell

Lucy is a local artist based in Market Harborough. Despite this she has spent many years overseas, discovering different styles and approaches to her creativity and has many works in international private collections. The work on display at the Nordic Farmhouse reflects the natural environment surrounding Dingley, the wild flowers that can be seen on a walk about the farm. Captured in an abstract realist style, each small image use strong, base background colours to contrast with the flower heads. Larger pieces focus on the detail of wild flowers to create a fluid, uplifting freshness.

Babysitting

Lucy Wittering

Lucy has been our private family nanny for over 3 years and also offers her services to our lovely guests, so that they can enjoy some alone time without the children. Lucy has a relevant university degree, fully first aid trained and has over ten years experience working with children in varying capacities. She has been a nanny for 5 years with children of differing ages from newborn to secondary school age. Before becoming a nanny she worked as an SEN teaching assistant at a local primary school and also as a senior nursery nurse.
